FAQ -

Frequently Asked Question.

The Loop is new and it's nice. What else should be done?

  • make upgrades where the path needs it
  • add connections to other trails in the area
  • for increased safety, add bike lanes on Huntingwood and a signal light on Finch near Sandhurst Circle
  • expand the East-West hydro trail in the north to create a major east-west cycling corridor

So, you are cycling the Loop. But who else is eager to make the Green Loop succeed?

  • Schools - as the are teaching practical solutions to environmental problems, via the Loop
  • Commuters – move some of the rush hour traffic onto the Loop, away from the roads
  • Shops - customers arrive by bicycle and thus won't need without clog the parking lots
  • Health community – cycling folks are healthier, happier and less of a load on the system
  • Your neighbours around you benefit like you:
they may get rid of one car in the family and thus save money, spend less on gas,
live in a neighbourhood near an attractive trail and
enjoy a healthier life style, just like you!
